Designed, edited, and recorded original sound effects in DAWs Logic Pro & Pro Tools using advanced sound synthesis & manipulation techniques. Implemented sfx assets using middleware Wwise & MasterAudio in Unreal & Unity for games, cinematics, and trailers including The Lord of the Rings ™: Return to Moria ™, The Callisto Protocol, Spelldrifter, Rube Goldberg Workshop for Meta Quest, Raymond VR forklift training, VR hazardous safety training, World Cup VR security training, and NeuroTrainer.

Sound Designer – Amazon Lab126
Cupertino, CA — 2017

Created original sound design for wearable Amazon Echo Frames. Optimized audio for bone conduction technology. Developed user interface sound effects for clear interaction between peripheral devices. Utilized existing Amazon device sounds for reference to ensure audio brand continuity.

Sound Designer & Composer – Independent
San Jose, CA — 2015 – 2017 

Designed game sound effects, UI audio, and composed the original music soundtrack for the iOS game Pinchworm. Produced iTunes promo trailer for Unity&Variety. Created push notifications and interface audio for mobile apps including Wake, Bodyforge, Go Time!, RealTalk, Pexip, and Coinbase. 

Technical Sound Designer – Facebook
Menlo Park, CA — 2014 – 2015 

Redefined Facebook branding through original sound design, editing, testing, and mixing push notifications and user interface for products including Messenger, the main Facebook app, Hyperlapse by Instagram, Slingshot, Paper, Groups, Rooms, Hello, Moments, and Riff. Managed and converted all team audio assets for compatibility and optimization, and actively maintained audio data repository for all apps. 

Sound Designer and Audio Engineer – WaveGroup Sound
Fremont, CA — 2013 – 2014

Created Ubisoft Rocksmith 2014 Session Mode instruments by recording and editing with Pro Tools and Wwise implementation. Mastered character and language audio, created web previews, successfully built and maintained GIT repositories for the Mini Jambox speaker and ERA headset by Jawbone. Recorded and edited dialog sessions for various clients and apps including Discover, WeatherVoice, and AstroVoice.

Recording Engineer and Customer Technical Support – 8DIO Productions / Tonehammer 
San Francisco Bay, CA — 2011 – 2012

Co-produced, recorded, edited, and programmed the 99 Bottles, Seahorse, Solo Taikos, and Epic Taiko Ensemble instruments for Native Instruments Kontakt using Sony Sound Forge and Logic Pro. Recorded the Copperphone, Glass Marimba, Bazantar, and Adagio string series. Sliced beats to create the Rhythmic Aura Vol. 1 and Post-Apocalyptic Guitar instruments for Spectrasonics Stylus RMX. Solely provided successful 24/7 on-call worldwide customer technical support through email.

Score Technical Engineer – Haslinger Productions & Universal Pictures
North Hollywood, CA — 2008 – 2010

Enhanced final score quality of the films The Wolfman, After.Life, and Death Race by printing Nuendo stems to Pro Tools sessions through master processing. Created Stylus RMX instruments for score composition process, and captured realtime footage from the games X-Men Origins: Wolverine​ and Need for Speed: Undercover for score composition process. Supported network, email, and system communications, as well as software sampling, effects, and DAW installations and upgrades. Directed the relocation and rebuilding of Paul Haslinger’s studio by streamlining acoustic and routing solutions.
